You asked for it MOMsters, and you got it! Green Bay will never know what hit ‘em! Last year, the inaugural year for the MOMsters fan club was a total blast in San Francisco and this year we are going to step it up a notch! Green Bay is a football town and they have a lot of pride in their team. Well, it’s time for another MOMster’s invasion and it will be an early Thanksgiving slaughter up in The Frozen Tundra!!
Please allow me to set the stage. Ticket prices here are pretty expensive and since it’s only a 4-hour drive max, we are going to keep this package to just a weekend. Not a whole lot of time needed off from work and this will also keep package prices down. Your charter buses will leave from a generic Chicago location with ample parking at noon on Friday, November 14th. The bus will make a pit stop along the way, but should get you there just in time for happy hour.
We will be staying at the Holiday Inn City Center which is located all but three miles from the stadium. The town is not that big, so anywhere you want to go is pretty convenient. As you know, The MOMsters always have a party on a Friday night before a Sunday game and this will be at Anduzzi’s. For Saturday night's "UN"Official Pep Rally Party we will go right across the street to THE BAR!! I have been to both places and they are great. I would love to do a bar crawl on Friday night like we normally do, but there aren’t enough bars in one place to do so. You will see what I mean when we get there.
Sunday's tailgate party will start promptly at 9 AM. You will be bused from the hotel even though it is only 3 miles from the stadium. The tailgate location overlooks historic Lambeau Field and will be the closest party to the stadium (http://titletowntickets.com/tailgate_party/standard_tailgate_party/). If you click on the before-mentioned link, you will see the picture at the top of the website. It is where we will be. We will also be partying with Packer fans, who by the way, are welcoming us with open arms. Should be a blast and there should be a little jawing! Keep it fun as that’s what it should be. The party is catered by local favorite and former Green Bay Packer, Fuzzy Thurston (http://www.fuzzybook.com). If you get a chance to read his story, it's pretty amazing. There you will be treated to an authentic Green Bay tailgate party with plenty of beer and bratwurst! There is an extensive menu for this tailgate party so please look below for that entire list. After the game, we head back to Chicago!!
